A note for thoughtful givers

A small note can carry the biggest part of the gift

A custom plush can represent a companion, but your words explain why you thought of the person receiving it. You do not need a perfect quotation or a promise of comfort. A specific memory and a gentle invitation can be enough.

Begin with something you noticed

Mention an everyday scene you shared: the dog who waited by the gate or the cat who claimed the empty chair. Keep it true to what you know. Avoid writing as if you can speak for the animal or know exactly what the recipient feels.

Explain the choice without prescribing a reaction

You can say that a familiar detail made you think of them. Do not tell them that they must love the likeness, display it or find it comforting. A personal object is an offer, not an emotional obligation.

Invite their input when the gift is still being planned

If the plush is not yet approved, explain which parts they can help choose. They might select the pose or check the markings. Make clear that a commission is not the same as a ready-to-ship product and that changes may affect timing.

Keep private information out of a public note

A message shown in a photograph or social post can reveal names, addresses or an order link. Keep the private order page separate from gift presentation. We do not currently offer a printed-message add-on; this guide helps you prepare your own note.
